Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I'll never reduce myself to being dependent on public social media
acceptance values.

It was actually written by a female, so quick to say it was a male. I totally agree with it.

I may not agree with it word for word, but I certainly agree with the point he's trying to make.
Too many people are getting a free ride, and that money doesn't just materialize out of thin air. It's way past time that it becomes something you use when you absolutely need it, not something you see as a long-term plan to support yourself and your family. There are a whole generation of young people being brought up to want to live in a welfare society, because there's zero incentive for them to try and do any better.
What happens when the slaves refuse to pay for these people to eat and procreate like bunnies?

I said it tongue in cheek.
Soemone that young should do abit more reading on the subject. Easier for men to get fix than women.
I do agree that ppl (gov or otherwise) shouldnt have so darn many kids. But especially the ones that cant support what they have.
I have said I agree with most of what was in the newspaper clipping but some I find Really offensive. My personal opinion.

I generally don't waste time talking politics, but here's my $.02
There may be some merit in some of the ideas, but aside from the slight caveat of being voluntary, the diatribe in the OP reads, to me, as little more than a modified communist manifesto. Advocating indentured servitude, while absolutely reinforcing some semblance of a caste system.
Conflicting ideologies aside, that whole thing comes across as the ramblings of someone who can't differentiate between how easy it is to spew their twisted Utopian views, and how pitifully little relevance it has, in regards to any kind of feasible real-world implimentation. If it's such a simple matter for the government to create jobs out of thin air for these people, and on such a grand scale, why isn't it already being done?
All in all, it just sounds like an extremist wackjob that's managed to convince him/herself that their own black and white perspective is the only way to look at our society's problems.
As much as certain monomaniacal reductionists refuse to concede the points: not everyone is trying to milk the government for all they're worth, all that are on government assistance do not actively wish to be, one size never fits all. The writer's views appear to be based on the premise that all those in need of help should be actively punished for the way that some others choose to abuse the system. Advocating that those less fortunate should become government property, in all but name, doesn't seem like it'd serve any positive purpose, nor does it seem particularly "American" to me.
But I suppose I'll just be labeled as a 'bleeding heart' for wanting to juxtapose any degree of humanitarianism with that rant. I mean, they're only poor people, right? As long as it's not you or yours, why give a damn about dehumanizing someone else? If they can't do themselves, no less you, any good, what use are they?
Maybe I'm the one that's being wrong-minded and seeing things through overly rose-tinted glasses, here. It just seems to be a very cold, calloused way to go about whatever necessary reforms there are to be made within the welfare system. And no, I'm neither currently or welfare, nor have I ever been.
