BugWater	Air Potato's aka Dioscorea bulbifera and Chameleons Im hoping someone can help me out with this plant. I unintentionally let my veiled get into this stuff and he was eating it like crazy. Its been a few days and he doesnt seem to be having any side effects, but ive not been able to find anything about the plant as far as being relevant to reptiles. Plenty of info about the plant itself, just nothing for chams. He doesnt seem harmed but I want to try to make sure, and if it is safe I got tons of this stuff and it grows like crazy. Here is the scientific name; Dioscorea bulbifera commonly called; Air Potato, MonkeyBalls,Aerial Yam, Bitter Yam, Potato Yam.
