Maybe she actually is just fine. Boas are not supposed to have tightly fitting skin. There is supposed to be a certain amount of looseness, as this is what allows for the stretching.
Without a picture to actually show what you are explaining, this is ALL speculation, and guess work. There's not a person here that can diagnose your snake by a mere description. Me included.
Sounds like you may be chasing a ghost, or over worrying maybe. We all do it, and I'm not faulting you for it either, but the best indicator you can have as to your boas health, is her appetite, and her stools. If she is eating, and going without problems, than she's most likely healthy, and maybe just not as fat as you would like her to be?
A picture could clear the guess work up though.
