Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Age to start breeding..
What is the age for bearded dragons to start breeding them? Is it at a year or how old shoudl they be to safely strt breeding them?

at least one year for males, 2 years for females. and only breed them IF they are large enough. I like my males over 500grams and females over 400 grams and 18". they are sexually mature before 1 year, but it's as dangerous as a 8 year old having a child.

I knew that a year wasnt good enough...we plan to breed our female we have had now for a year but hell she is not even over 13 inches yet! Our male we have is a sanfire morph and he is 18 inches..my fiance thinks she will grow but I think the total oppisite...if she doesnt get bigger by the time she is 3 we arent going to breed her.

Yes unfortunatley, but oh well it doesnt mean much to us, we could care less if we breed them or not, they r more of a pet than a profit to us.
