Jen - nobody is spreading lies to your vet - yeah I read him the riot act for apparently advising you to start rebuilding your collection and releasing animals into the community without even knowing what you were dealing with. That he emailed me back was surprise enough - that he confirmed that releasing those animals was indeed irresponsible was what EVERYONE needed to know - that he confirmed that you were full of it was just a bonus. And then I apologized for apparently being misinformed.

Perhaps if you try listening to the specialist instead of following your own agenda he might be more willing to work with you. But of course he's not advising you to go ahead and start a pandemic in the community to make a few dollars - so I can see why you'd not want to listen to him.

You can sit there and proclaim how nothing has left your place since September - but the truth is - that if someone hadn't caught that you were planning on shipping out possibly infected animals - they'd already be out there - and the best reasoning you can give is based on a virus that you have known that this is not and your animals were vaccinated with a vaccine that you know is useless.

Sorry if I don't just sit quietly in the corner while you infect a bunch of collections because you've had a bad year. Sucks what you've been through - but at this point you've proven you aren't any better than Wyatt.

Im glad these animals are not being sold to others without further evaluation. Im sure there are many here who appreciate that move greatly. You are doing the RIGHT thing.

In my ideal perfect world, This sort of thing... shouldnt happen. one shouldnt have to be prompted to make such a move. It should be automatic.

Infected Collection = Stop All Sales and Purchases Immediately

Sorry if that offends anyone. But frankly, i dont give two hoots.

I know for a fact that a male ball python left Jen's possession on or shorty after 11/22/07....wait let me do the math it may take me a second since I am an ass clown, 11 minus 9 equals 2....yeah that's it 2 months after she has repeatedly said that nothing has left her house since September of last year...

I HAVE NOT SOLD, TRADED, ADOPTED OUT, OR GIVEN AWAY A SINGLE ANIMAL SINCE SEPTEMBER 2007, BEFORE THE INFECTED CARRIER FROM WYATT EVER ARRIVED IN MY COLLECTION. NOTHING HAS LEFT MY POSESSION.

ALL 5 BABIES FROM THE MOJAVE CLUTCH ARE STILL HERE, THEY HAD ONLY BEEN RESERVED, NOT FULLY PURCHASED. I HAVE SINCE CANCELLED THESE RESERVATIONS.

I HAVE NOT RECIEVED A SINGLE DONATED ANIMAL FROM ANYONE WHATSOEVER, AND THEREFORE HAVE NOT SOLD, TRADED, ADOPTED OUT, OR GIVEN AWAY ANY DONATED ANIMALS.

In regard to what Dr. Jacobsen mentioned about not having evidence that my animals have OPMV -- by their symptoms and necropsy results compared to his own exact research and description of the virus, we sure do. He only has tissue samples in front of him that he did an unreliable test on -- he didn't witness the stages of disease they went through nor the treatments we tried and failed with. He also mentioned that he has no evidence that they have the other "new" virus he discussed either, so that one isn't any more positive.

The last time he spoke directly to me was many months ago -- back when this all first began and before he had ever recieved a single dead body or sample from us. He did mention there were other things that could have caused the lesions, but that was only a small fraction of what was discovered in the necropsies and histopathy, and he was only responding to what I had told him based on all I had found out by that time. Back then, he didn't advise using the vaccine -- because he had never heard of it or its successful uses in Europe, and didn't fully understand the whole picture of what was happening. Since he recieved the samples and began work on my case, he has not contacted me or spoken to me whatsoever. I was recieving all of my information from Dr. Gordon, which is where I got the information that the babies would be unaffected and that my adults could still be used for breeding. I had trusted that he was in communication with Dr. Jacobsen as he was the one sending the bodies/samples/paperwork to him. Until recently, I hadn't known that Dr. Jacobsen was not responding and withholding information.
Care to explain this ad, and the one on CraigsList in Madison? (both ads were for the same snakes)

These girls came as a group from Pet Supermarket, where they were dumped by either a breeder or someone that bought a bunch of babies at some point and didn't want them any more. The manager didn't know the whole story, but regardless, I took them home. All are 150-250g in weight and in good condition -- no stuck sheds, not skinny, no parasites, no scars. They're all actually really pretty, mostly reduced patterns, some have no spots at all, and almost all are black backs/blushers. I'm keeping 2 out of the original 7, but just do not have enough space to keep all of them. Asking $50 each (what I paid to get them) + shipping cost. I can take pics, but they'll really suck because my main camera is busted and I have to use a crappy 3mp back up.

If you read post #41, I state that it was in the early mornings of 05/01 that she made the decision nothing was leaving her home. Which is after those ads were posted. Perhaps she has not had a chance to remove all of the ads yet?

There's a lot of assumptions being made here.

I'm not assuming anything when I read in her own words from the link in #64.

The link does no one any good unless they're a member of that forum, so I can't comment on that.

However, I was referring to the ads posted in #65 & #66.
