Need some advice on a situation involving Alea Rodriguez.

That is another BOI topic entirely. You asked for advice on the topic pertaining to her threatening you and you retaliating, asking for payments for care until know and we find a resolution one to which you agreed on and this is what comes out of it. The topic you posted only asked for advice for the situation at hand. Not how can alea take care of her animals situation. I think you missed the point of this BOI thread. I even said I felt inhumane for saying that but we cannot speculate on it because one we have no idea if she can or cannot afford it when she recieves her animals. If she has snakes already that would lead me to believe that she has feeder mice/rats, and that the only thing lacking is that she does not have enclosures.

Someone else already pointed out how to make temporary enclosures until she can afford bigger ones.

I am going off of what is said here in this thread. Not jargon and hearsay. Is this post for advice and help or is this post about questioning aleas herping practices or ability to tend to her animals? That is literally the last thing I will say here for the night. As to me this is growing more and more like a mud fight than a conflict resolution that you asked for and agreed to.

I think you should return them for your own sake, not because she hasn't sent mixed signals about it (which she has). This won't end until she has the animals back and no longer has anything to harass you about. Keeping them any longer than absolutely necessary would just be punishing yourself.

Reason 2 In Alea's on words from here. I am going off what has been posted in here. She has stated her reasons, sje has stated that she was originally waiting for her house to sell and spring. I do not see why her getting them when she pays for shipping and weather is favorable is an issue.

Coming from personal experiences with these kinds of situations, the both of you need to drop your pride. Elexis wants Alea to pay for the future expenses of her animals. Thats only the sensible thing to do... Alea, honestly, free or not, you should not have been taking in new animals when you're not paying for your own. Regardless of what you paid for the animal, it is still expense out of your pocket (food, and caging) taken away from the problem at hand. We all want to save animals we see being neglected, yet honestly we cant save them all. I suggest a contract be written out between the two of you for the time duration till shipping weather returns. This situation is petty, and has probably cost you both your friendships. As ive come to learn over the countless headaches with situations like this with friends, i say never agree to care for a friends animals free of charge. No matter how good of friends you are. The stress that comes with it is not worth it.

No, she never let me know daily, that's another lie. In fact if I didn't send her updates every time they ate, shed, popped, etc she wouldn't know anything about them. She rarely asked about them. I sent pictures now and then, that she rarely ever asked for.

There was 2 kings, one from months ago her mom supposedly bought, and one recently she paid to rescue. That's 2 scorpions, 2 balls, 2 kings snakes so that makes 3 king snakes including the one she didn't send with everyone else because I didn't have room, a brb, and I know she bought tubs and such to house them all, so why couldn't she do that for hers while getting all these new animals? She forced me to keep these, she gladly paid for anything those new animals needed but left me to foot the bill for the 6 here only buying bedding like twice. I want to send them back, again if she will purchase the necessary supplies, like a box for apollo the large male boa, and a couple for the other smaller ones, the brb and dumerils could probably fit in a medium box, and a box for the small 3, and I will gladly ship them back.
