Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.
the wife has been telling me "NO" for a long time about a sav, but i finally talked her into it. a local customer of mine who has purchased geckos before from me offered this girl in trade for a pair of leos. i coudn't resist and after a couple of hours of begging, the wife caved. she is about 18" long right now and as you can see she's in shed. she's a little skittish right now, but i think she's just stressed.
yeah ive kept other varanids and they are amazingly intelligent. she was just freaked out by my last argentine red that was a rescue. he was not friendly at all. this girl needs some work but i will get her used to handling. she's young enough to work with and not have the fear of being seriously injured. thanks for the comments guys. im very happy to have her.
