I thought as an unpaid member you had to have 100 posts first before you could give positive karma and you had to be a paid member to be able to give negative.

If I am reading that right, then after 10 posts your karma counts. For some reason I thought it was higher than that.

That chart left me with a few questions as well, for example: If one receives 10 reputation points upon registering, and must only have 1 for his/her karma to affect others...then it would seem that as soon as they hit 10 posts (barring negative points in that period) good karma should given should count - but that doesn't always seem to be the case. I have a few "grey" marks in my karma list, and a couple were given by people with positive reputation scores and sufficient post counts (the others were given by people with too low a post count or a negative reputation score).
