AA reptiles

Hi. I am curious to know if anybody has done any business with AA reptiles and if they have any input on them. Thanks!

I emailed them a few months ago about a certain male they had for sale. They sent me pictures of the wrong snake back, when I asked if they had any additional pictures. I emailed them the "number" they had attached to the snake I was inquiring about, requestion pics of that snake, and never heard back from them. I emailed them two additional times regarding that snake, with no repsonse back. I will not contact them again, ever.

I'd like some info as well please they sometimes have pretty neat animals but their website seems off--it says everything is CB but individual descriptions frequently mention WC animals. so if anyone's got business dealings with 'em please share

I often check their venomous snakes ad's, and I chuckle when I see the ad say thay are captive-born, when in fact, 99% of the venomous they offer is wild-caught.

I am shocked that there is still confusion about the c.b. vs w.c. issue since there have been other threads in which I have explained this, but here goes again.

Last year, when I did the venomous sales for ERJ/AA Reptiles, I listed ALL venomous snakes on Kingsnake.com under ERJ's account. After I stopped doing their sales, Andy decided to split the kingsnake ads so that the w.c. animals stayed under ERJ, and the c.b. animals were listed under AA Reptiles. However I have also noticed that sometimes he lists w.c. animals in his AA account ads, but notes that they are w.c. animals. But for the most part he uses his AA Reptiles account for c.b. (unless otherwise noted). Andy is truthful about his animals being w.c. or c.b., so if the ad says one or the other on either ERJ or AA Reptiles listings, that is what they are. I am not so sure that 99% of their venomous is w.c., as Randal stated, but they are what they are, and I have not known of Andy misrepresenting them. Even though I do not do their venomous sales anymore, I am out there at least once a week working with their venomous, so if anyone has any questions about any of their venomous you are welcome to contact me, as many of my friends and former customers do. I certainly have no incentive to be untruthful about any animal they are selling, as I no longer am involved with selling, and therefore am not compensated for anything they sell. Hope this helps some. RFH

Ok, here's what's running tonight on Kingsnake ,Jan 19th.

And, that's just the Venomous ad's that are on tonight. And under every ad it states:

• OUR ANIMALS: Our animals are 100% captive born, either at our breeding facility or obtained from experienced and competent breeders who we personally know and trust. However, it’s strongly recommended that all newly acquired animals (regardless if captive born or not) be quarantined, or checked by a vet, & treated accordingly. ALL TURTLES SOLD UNDER FOUR INCHES ARE NOT SOLD AS PETS. THEY ARE FOR EXPORT, EDUCATIONAL, ZOOLOGICAL OR RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY.

That was my point of my post. I haven't either bothered to look at the non-venomous ad's.

Ray, I appreciate you sticking up up Ricky and Andy, however, this post was not aimed at you. I was just backing up my previous post. They advertise these venomous snakes as Captive Born, and they are clearly not. I know better, and you know better.

It's just odd enough to make me leery without someone having had good experiences to report...which is a shame because he occasionally has *really* neat hots for sale (although that'll be a few years out for me).

Ha Ha, You got me buddy! I see what you mean now. That should not be worded that way in their disclaimer. Mine used to say "Unless otherwise noted, all animals are ....." So I will point that out to Andy and Ricky so they can correct that. I stand corrected, buddy, and did not take anything personal. Thanks, Ray

AA

I bought from ERJ/AA reptiles several times last year and they have always been upfront and honest with me. I have gotten great animals from them and they are a great company to work for. I normally worked with danny, but I also talked with andy and both seem like really cool guys. I have bought some of there W.C. venomus too and they all looked very nice and I havent had a problem with anything. Some of there ads maybe a bit misleading, but Im sure they arent trying to trick anyone. If you call them or email them, they will answer any questions you have. I would def say they are "Good Guys".

AA reptiles are a very good company

I have got Animals from them on many occasions and have always been very happy. I have only once had a problem and Andy took care of it right away. They are one of the good guys in the Reptile Trade. I would recommend them to everybody that is looking for a good reptile supplier.
