Just got into Blood pythons!!!

Hello All,

I'm just beginning to enter my journey into Blood pythons. I purchased a 2015 female 100% het Tneg from Steve tillis of Reptillis Herps, and I must say she is absolutely amazing. She has been calm from the day I received her and she eats like a champ.

Ive also read and heard from several keepers that for the most part they require a soak after they shed because they usually don't shed completely. I am proud to say that her first shed with me today was absolutely complete!! I am growing very fond of this awesome python and foresee it becoming close to my favorite snake.

Hope you guys enjoy the pic and have a great day!!!

Also feel free to share pics of your bloods!

Keep the humidity between 60% and 70% and you shouldn't have to soak them. My bloods always shed in one piece. Also if you supply them with a water dish big enough for them to soak in they will usually soak themselves a lot they seem to love it.
