sexing and sounds???

Hello again...i have 2 more questions for you. First I'm trying to find out if she's a he....i read males have spurs on the back feet, Cammi has little bumps but I'm not sure if thats comsidered a spur or not. She/he is only about 3-4 mo old so should i assume the bumps are little spurs?
Also lately I've noticed she's been making a weird noise, it's kind of like a hissing sound or a loud yawn(she opens her mouth when she does it). What does this mean???? I bought her a ficus tree last week(it takes up 90% of her cage) could she maybe not like the tree, should i take it out and go back to just climbing veins and a couple small little plants??? Any help will be greatly appreciated THANKS!

Howdy,

I have found that young female Veileds have a very smooth heal with no sign of a spur. If you see a small lump of skin right at the back edge of the rear feet then it is reasonable to consider those to be male heal spurs.

If he is otherwise nice and healthy then the yawning/hissing would be normal. Veileds often hiss at their keepers usually as a sign of displeasure of your presence. This may increase or lesson as he gets older.

I'd say that big plant is reasonable to use. More foilage reather than less is usually preferred.

Post photos!

You can't really see the feet real well, i can't get him to turn around for the camera... (he must be shy about his back side lol)

Spurs...

From my experience I would say that it is a male. I can definitely see the spurs in the last few pics that you have posted.
