Rare species of Anolis:

...and by rare I meant either in captivity or the wild.

I have numerous species of Anolis and find them to be as interesting or more so than most (dont hate me!) geckos (which I have quite a few species of as well). I only keep animals that I can or try to breed, no "just pet" animals, so the captive propogation and husbandry are aspects that I find most interesting.

So my post is for this: Are there any other Anolis keepers who care to share thier enthusiasm for the Anole keeping hobby? Around 500 species of them out there.....

Yes , all of my past anoles I tried to breed and pass on to others that share the same interest . Anoles are very interesting , much more than other lizards such as chameleons and geckos , some are just as colorful . I have kept Crested anoles , Cybotes , Allisoni , Winstoni , Trinitatus , Guyana blue Roquet anoles , Sabanus and briefly Anolis Leachi .
Anoles are such a cool lizard .
Wow , I dug up an old post .

I do geckos, too, but the little dewlap-flarers still fascinate me!! They were my first lizards, back when I was about 10.
