Morelia Spilota (Carpet pythons) are separated into subspecies from different localities, these do not have Morelia Spilota Cheynei (Jungle Carpet Python), they are a mix of Mcdowelli, variegata, and harrisoni* (if you recognize Hosers reclassification), the taxonomic names change and with the new Carpet Python book coming out they might be reclassified again. These are though pure Morelia Spilota.
He is feeding on F/T fuzzie mice, i personally dont think hatchling carpet pythons can take a fuzzie rat, eventually they will convert over as they grow, ive never had a problem switching prey.
He is approximately 2 months old, and about 14 inches, i can get a gram weight if needed, has eaten now 6 times with no hesitation.
Let me know if you have any other questions, id be happy to answer them. Thanks
