What I was stating was a complete turn around from what was previously stated. Hence the 360.

I'll be off working for the next several hours but will surely catch up later this evening!

Have a good day!

If it was a complete turn around, as you stated, then she would have been right back to where she started, so how would anything have changed?

But thanks for the suggestion.
You told the customer that a cold pack would be included. Your own TOS states that a cold pack will be provided. The temps were indeed above 90 degrees....temps which you must acknowlege can involve risk to the animals well being, since you don't even guarantee live arrival at those temps. Your reasoning behind not using a larger box is because there would not have been enough room for a cold pack in the smaller box....therefore, either you are OK with lying to your customer, risking the animals health, and breaking your own TOS.......or a bigger box WAS needed.

The vast majority of reptile buyers are more than willing to pay a few extra dollars to ensure their animal's safety.....if they aren't willing to pay a few extra dollars for a larger shipping box so that the promised cold pack can be provided, I wouldn't sell them an animal to begin with. Saving a few bucks just isn't worth the possibility of causing a live animal to suffer.

Perhaps if we get out our Crayolas and draw a picture?

I no, I no.... until it comes time to pay up.

Go back and read the email exchange. I'm not intelligent enough to know how to quote...Sorry. They didn't teach that in my college either. Gees, and to think I paid all that money for an education. WTF!!

But did you not say this in the other thread you started?

One reason I can offer $38.50 shipping to anyone on any size or weight box. I do this for retail sales only and my wholesale customers pay my discounted rate.

Great point, Tim. If a flat rate is offered for ANY size box........why would it cost more to ship a larger, more appropriate sized box?

You no (sic)? It seems they weren't all that big on English Composition at that college of yours. You may want to check their TOS and see if you can get a partial refund on that education.
