Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

OMG..... simply the finest redtails ive ever bought in my life... should you be lucky enough to catch one or more of his animals up for sale before the rest of the redtail crackheads (like myself) swarm in... run, dont walk to the phone.
to be completely honest,.. he doesnt have the most glowing personality in the world, but who does. what he does have is THE BEST true redtails , these are the healthiest, prettiest animals ive had shipped to me. he obviously puts more time energy and care into his animals than most people. what i got at the US Airways cargo desk was also the NEATEST, CLEANEST shipping arrangement ive ever got.
again, if youre lucky enough to catch one of his animals for sale,.. DO NOT hessitate if you want it. he only accepts money orders or cashiers checks (at this point) so depending on how you send it, it can take a little longer... but the wait is well worth it, and you have nothing to worry about with mike. im actually amazed there are no other posts regarding him on this board.
anyways,.. take care and thanks mike.

Great Guy, Great Animals
I purchased 2.1 adult Sonoran Desert Boas from Mike Eckert of OH. I would like to fully recommend him to everyone.
The entire deal went as a deal should go and the animals where correctly shipped through U.S. Air. I do hope to purchase future animals from Mike and would advise all to do the same with confidence.
The only negative thing I have to say is he did so totally under rate these animals throughout our conversations that I was shocked and confused when I opened the box at the airport and thought he had sent me the wrong snakes. These where much too nice but I knew he was going to have a hard time getting these back eitherway....lol. They where after all the correct snakes but he had not described them very well at all. They are much better than described and well above my expectations as determined by the selling price and Mike's description/pictures.
Its all really summed up by saying "I'm really glad to have gotten to purchase these fine animals from a person thats does what he says and doesn't overplay his product".
Look for neonates from this reverse trio in the future.
Respectfully,

I bought from him last summer and just recently. Both times the animals were in unbelievable condition, they practically glowed coming out of the box. US Airways is a bit out of the way for me but the operation seems pretty squared away. Last summer I asked about shipping out animals myself and I was told I had to be a verified shipper. This time I inquired and I was told I could ship. I would only have to follow their shipping policy as far as booking in advance and proper packaging but that isn't anything unlike Delta.

Back in January of 2005 I purchased a pair of San Felipe Rosy Boas from Mike Eckert after checking him out here and reading this thread. During our e-mails he mentioned to me that the female had bred in 2004 and if I fed her heavily, that I might be able to get her into breeding condition for the 2005 breeding season. Knowing this I was expecting a to get a thin female, but when I got the package and opened it, I thought that someone must have put the wrong snake in the sack. She was HUGE! I mean like "time for a diet" huge. I decided to do just that and I put her on a little diet. I introduced her to the male when the time came. She bred and produced 11 babies (2 were still born) on 8-20-2005. Here is a link to pics if you like that sort of thing.

Mike took great care in his packing and making sure the weather would be suitable for shipping. It was very obvious that he cares about the well being of his snakes even after he sends them out. Thanks again for the great Rosy Boas Mike!

Great to deal with and even better animals
I've gotten two shipments from Mike and I can not say enough about how great it was to deal with him. I look forward to getting some more animals from him as soon as he is ready to sell some more.
Again - Mike is one of the best!

Mike cares for his rosys like people care for their children. Some of the nicest and cleanest rosys around. If you ever see his Extreme wide stripe Ortiz rosys, jump on them quick.
