Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Gosh folks. I wouldn't bust on the reporter too badly. While the innacurate details are the things that only a herper could appreciate, the crux of the story is that a low-life stole a treasured pet (ball, ball, pie-bald ?)from some guy in a wheel-chair, and by all descriptions, the thief is proto-typical human debris. Its sad. If someone is able to contact the poor gentleman who lost the snake, I'll contribute $50 towards the purchase of a replacement, by paying it directly to a reputable dealer who will ship the snake. Who's with me for even $10 ? Need someone to contact this guy first, and come back here and post that it has been done, that he wants a replacement, and verify what it is that we are replacing ! Hopefully its not an 8' bloodline ! Merry Christmas, right ?

Actually now that I think of it, I have a perfectly tame and friendly ball python (male) that I am willing to part with and send to the guy 100% totally free of charge if someone can get me in touch with the guy. He is a decent size and totally friendly, I just don't have room in my breeding program for normal males anymore.

Sounds good to me. I was trying to find the guys phone number myself, but the article says South 4th street, and a whitepages lookup on him gives an address of "120th Way" so I don't want to call the wrong person. Shoot me a PM if you get his phone number.

Will do Bob. That area is the middle-of-nowhere on the south side of the Okeefenokee Swamp, and I am surprised they have an on-line paper of any sort. I shot an email to the reporter, as I got the same address as you, and asked for his help. If the phone number I have is answered by a Griffis, I am sure we can find our guy, as I'll bet every Griffis up there knows every other Griffis  !
