Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

In any other transaction, what would happen? Lets say you purchase a computer from (x) company, you get it and find the CD drive doesn't work (something small, but important and easially overlooked). You call the company and ask if you can return it for a new one. If the company has good practices and standards they have you box it up, send it back and either repair it or send you a new one. Why is this transaction so different?
|
Let's not forget, in the said scenario the customer in question's family "fell in love" with the computer and does not want to return int, they just want a portion of the original purchase price refunded.

OK went to my buds house this morning. He says she is to skinny. He thinks the flair over vent is just because she is skinny. He didn't even want to probe her because of it. Just his 2 cent. I will still go to the exotics specialist next week.

Likely story...LOL..... so it went from a kink.... to a WEIGHT PROBLEM..... this is getting ridiculus... it seems like all you are going to online forums is to participate in childish mudslinging.... this stuff will come back to haunt you one day when you actually need help from someone.... or actually have a valid complaint..... noone will take you seriously....... and if you ever produce any babies.... you will find it real hard to sell them.... because most people check unknown breeders out here before they buy from them....
Not to mention you've managed to burn bridges locally.... one day you mght need some help with something or need a local rodent source... and people are gonna remember this....
you should change your screen name... because you are giving REAL cajun people a bad name

YES, that is what your feeling. Many people have told you that. Many people have told you hypo ball pythons have NO KNOW GENETIC KINKING. Many people have told you that you are in the wrong.... all you have done is get yourself BLACKLISTED. Oh and by the way you think all of us are the "big breeders" and your only going to buy from the "home grown" breeders ... LOL who do you think we all are? ? ?
Guess what we are the "home grown" breeders... the ones who care, personally I wouldn't sell you a pet rock after all the stink you have caused here! Quick Lesson, when EVERYONE you talk to tells you the same thing..... those "chillins" might just be right. Now Back to my lack of a life ....... I've got snake poopies to pick!

I have purchased 3-4 corns from Josh. My last one died 17 days after I purchased it and Josh refused to give me a refund because it was over the 17 days. My first experiences were good, however I will never purchase from him again. I think he moves a lot of snakes and conveniently overlooks signs of sickness. Just my opinion.

Correction. It was over the 15 day period. Not a huge deal as he was going by his policy. I would just recommend asking him to make sure the snake is in perfect health. I honestly think he may not have known as there were no extreme signs. It also could have happened on my side but I really doubt it.

So....Mike, any proof of these aligations your making? Or do you just ass-u-me that "he moves a lot of snakes and conveniently overlooks signs of sickness"... ? Where is your proof of him overlooking sick snakes???? That's a pretty nasty allegation to be making with out proof!
In my opinion your not so bright. <-- sucks when people ass-u-me's things about you when they don't know you doesn't it?
This IS the BOI we operate on facts and proof, please post either if your going to post such things.

Ummmmm....which is it? Why would you assume he intentionally overlooks illnesses just because you had a snake die two weeks after you took over its care? You said yourself the snake didn't look sick. If you couldn't tell...then why was Josh supposed to be able to?
I do expect reasonable amounts of accountability from anyone taking on the responsibility of selling live animals. But I don't expect them to be some sort of aura-reading mystic able to diagnose invisible defects or illness.

Brian,
How old are you? You don't have much class or professionalism do you. I know of others that have had issues with outback reptiles and I've been told he moves a lot of snakes. What I assume is my own business. Every one here can think for themselves. And Judy, I posted a second time because I thought my first post was a little harsh and I wanted to give Josh more of a benefit of the doubt. I don't know how his thought process works and if he intentionally tries to get rid of sick animals for a cheaper price. As I've said before and will say again, "I would just recommend asking him to make sure the snake is in perfect health''. This is my feedback based on my experiences with Outback reptiles and what I've been pm'd from others. Mike Udall

Your own experience is valid although as has been pointed out if there were no signs of illness when you received the snake, it may be hard to tell just where the illness arose.
But your 'pms from others'? If those who pmed you have complaints, they need to have the backbone to come here themselves and say what is on their minds. No seller should have his reputation clouded by vague whispers and third party innuendo.
