my new pet rat peaches

i went to the pet store on 7/27/10 and i was talking to the guy about stuff for my cat when i decided i would check out the reptile and mammal collection he had for sale. i was very impressed with the clenliness and knowlege he had for his animals. all animals he had there were bred and raised by his family as pets. he had pictures also showing his collections and breeding facility set up at his house and in the back of his pet store. he even took me on a tour of the pet store facility. i decided to look at his rat collection and i found this adorable fancy rat in a corner of the cage. shes friendly a little skittish at first but i picked her up, she licked my cheek and i handed the guy the money he wanted for this little female. her name is peaches because she has curly wiskers and peach fuzz all over her body. i would have picked a gray hairless rat but it was a male and i wanted a female. she is so loveable and she is my first hairless/nearly hairless rat lol. i dont think i could have chosen a better looking fancy rat. she is gorgeous

I know this is kind of old now, but, congratulations! I've always loved rats even though I've never owned one, but they sound great. ^_^

well peaches is fine... i just got her a friend named ashes two days ago... ashes in a nearly hairless blue rat... ashes could be pregnant so im looking forward to possible hairless babies
