I now have little matched pouches and bedding for the gliders, some wheels for them to run on, and some way cute crocks I just bought from brandonsthaman in royal blue, yellow, and purple. Maybe I can't always keep up with the Joneses but as of now, my gliders can go anywhere, confident that they can hold their own and show off in style

I think somebody lied to you, Lucille ... "way cute" crocks are not a status symbol. They fall off their little feet easily and gliders actually like the taste of the cheap plastic, so they get chewed up quickly.

If you really want stylish footwear so your gliders "can go anywhere, confident that they can hold their own and show off in style", then for the girls it's Manolo Blahnik, Gucci, Christian Louboutin or for the boys, Bordeaux or John Lobb. They'll fit better, look better and the Joneses will be green with envy.
