New and looking in Indiana
I am an all around animal lover. I have never had a snake before and was told that a corn snake would be a good place to start. I have been looking at some color morphs and prices and reading up on their general care. I am hoping to acquire one over the summer. I am a college student so my sister and father would be looking after my lil friend while I am away(don't worry my dad and sis are very good at that, they used to have a king snake) with me coming home often to check on my snake and such, and of course me taking full responsiblity financially.
So this in mind, I have been trying to find a good breeder or just a knowledgeable person in Indiana who has a corn snake they wish to sell. I am not willing to pay more for the snake than I pay for its cage and supplies. So the highest I am willing to go is about 80 dollars. I would highly prefer a snake that has eaten a few times, PREFERABLY on frozen/thawed foods. I don't do live due to ethical issues. If anyone has any info about someone(ot is someone) in the Indianapolis, Indiana area, please let me know.
