Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

he is offering 1.2 100% het albino balls for only $650 american. An unbeatable price but very "risky".
Just wondering what i should do and see if anyone has heard of him before.

Geoff is refering to an ad on K.com that is claiming to sell het ball pythons at a very good price. Please see http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=32&de=26814 (If my copy and paste comes through correctly) I don't know this person, but your best bet is to give them a call and talk to them in person. I'm very tempted to do so myself, if he had been better at writing his ad, I probably would be giving him a call myself.

Geoff,
As Mark says, call him on the phone. Ask the usual questions. Who produced them? If it was hymself, ask for a picture of the breeders (to check their pattern, you know...). If he bought them (I doubt he will be selling at that price though) where did they come from? Do they have paperwork? Can you contact the breeder? If these questions are not answered I would stay away.

This is EXACTLY why this site is such a good thing! 1.2 (wasn't it 1.3 in the first thread?) 100% het ALBINO BALLS for $650<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>? Are you kidding me??? This is where all you guys get in trouble.... you see a deal that just "looks" great, then you actually think about purchasing them, because, ...."I've NEVER seen them at such a good price"! So, then you say to yourself.... "I had better get them quickly, before someone else does"! ....That's when you get the ROYAL SHAFT!
If you guys would STOP looking for "the best deal around", and just go to the ACTUAL BIG TIME BREEDERS (and pay more).... you WON'T get burned! Remember, you get what you pay for!
I guess you have to learn for yourself, though, huh??
I don't know who you're talking about, but.... nobody in their right mind would sell het albino balls for $200 each! If you guys would stop SMOKING YOUR BREAKFAST, you wouldn't be in all the messes you are???

I could swear that this guy is Jeff Musial at Nickel City. I responded to a very, very similar ad about 2 months ago from Rick, and Jeff is the person who responded. And I myself would not go any further. Just my own opinion. And please dont tell me my snakes are fake for not buying from Jeff.

It is actually Nick City Reptiles. He is based in New York. Do a search on Musial and read all posts about him BEFORE you make any decisions to deal with him.
