Sick sulcata

Greetings all,
My wife and I just just acquired 2 Sulcata's that are young and one is very sick.
I live in Danville CA (15 miles east of Oakland) and need a vet that understands them.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
I am about to call the east bay vivarium for advice.
Apparently the last owner didn't allow them uv lighting and god knows what else.
They are a male and female about 3 inches.
They have a decent sized enclosure but they will be getting a nice upgrade.
Female always hides but looks ok.
The male likes to bask and hobble around but his back legs are kinda paralyzed.
I am new to torts but have kept repts for a long time (I dig zonatas and Chams)
and have read up on these.
My wife really digs these and we will do anything to rehab this little guys.
Thank you.
Andy

OK,
So I made arrangements to get 'em looked at tomorrow.
Any tidbits of info to help these guys out would be appreciated.
I've never had to deal with mtd (sp?) before and I think they are going to need some work.
One thing I'm am not certain of is the meds that a vet might prescribe.
Could any of you give me any info on what might be the proper meds/rehab for this?
These little one probably just met warm sunlight for the fist time.
Thank you.
Andy

glad you found a place to take them to, I was going to recommend this vet, he does good work with reptiles in case you need another source, it's about 15 min south of Oakland. Dr Rene Gandolfi is the reptile guy

I'm sorry I cannot offer any other advise as I've never had torts. I think you mean MBD not MTD, MBD is metabolic bone disease, which is usually due to lack of calcium or lack of exposure to UVB (sunlight).

I wish you the best of luck!
