Argentine Boa

I just bought this boa but the seller neglected to mention that about 1/4" of his tail is missing. He also doesn't seem to want to be handled and all of my snakes are pets first, so this is a big thing for me. He isn't bad, just needs a bit of handling and patience. He was born in Sept. 2008. He has very nice colors! He is dark brown, almost black, with some pink mixed in. I can take more pics if you want. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks!

what breeder did you buy him from?- he has very nice colors! i am sorry that he is not tame, but he will probably warm up to you.
if you don't mind, can you post more pics of the tail?

I got him from Exotic Pets. I may just return him but he says he can't afford to refund the shipping cost, so I thought this may work better. Here's another pic of the tail and one of his belly. It's not really noticeable in the pic, it just kind of cuts off at the end and you can feel it a bit. You can get a better idea of his colors from the second pic.

It's not much and the pic doesn't really show it at all, but it's noticeable in person and you can feel where it cuts off. I paid $225 so I'm hoping to get close to that. Thanks.

just letting you know, i'm almost 100% that all argentine boas tails cut off quick like that. my argentine's tail does the same thing, it feels like the tips been nipped off but thats just how his tail is. i'd be interested but i have a boy and i need a girl, good luck though
