This male when he was first pulled out of his bag was thought to be an Ambilobe because of his amazing blue bars and the fact he was almost completely yellow but there were doubts. Well, after a few days of rest, food and water his colors changed quite a bit and there is no doubt now he is an Ambanja, probably an Ankify boarder - and a pretty fine one too! I have never seen
intense blue bars like that on any Ambanja. They are really, really impressive in person. Hopefully he fully acclimates, so far so good and he has gotten even better in the short time since this pic was taken.
