Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

wondering if the turtle was really sick or not. Snapping turtle babies have naturally softish shells. even young juveniles don't have a really "hard" shell that most people would normally think a turtle should have.

Good point. And we do not know the present status of the turtle. John has not posted the vet report as requested.
It may be that the turtle was/is fine. Why is John so reticent to post info?
I do have to reiterate that most vets are hard working and above board, and that for the seller to proactively refuse to accept a vets analysis of the turtle's health (the vet may have said the turtle was fine) does not sit well with me.

OK in fairness NOW that Keith has supplied proof of WHO shipped and to WHOM (names which were not included on the website data) its up to John to prove when that turtle was treated for being sick IF it even was sick; else this entire thread should be deleted and John should be banned from posting on Fauna (in my opinion).

Completely agreed. I don't know of a single vet that would stoop to such corruption. I am fairly certain if they are caught doing such a thing their ability to practice could be threatened. Keith, lets stay focused on the facts and not speculate on the credibility of John's vet. He still hasn't provided any proof to reinforce his claims.

Vets are no diffrent from Doctors they are Humans also that make mistakes thats Why I didnt trust what John was telling me He said it as if hes going to go have his vet make paperwork up to say it was sick when he talked on the phone last night and thats why I told john that I will not accept what his vet has to say for that reason . But hey if He has something Lets see it like you all Asked !!

In my opinion this thread has already given valuable information about how each party responds to issues and that is good to have up the road a piece when someone might be considering a transaction with either of them.
In any case, it will not be deleted.

First off Lucille IF you are going to quote my post, quote my ENTIRE post, not the last line! This post should be deleted IF John cant support his claims like Keith had finally done. It isn't fair now to Keith to have a negative post about him IF its not true! Just trying to be fair and exercise some common sense. The lessons learned are done!

Very True and Thank you as I said Im almost always willing to help someone even if I feel im 100% in the right as this case . I still offered him a turtle at discounted to 50% shiped just to try and keep him happy !! 1 Unhappy person tells hundreds over time !! 1 happy person tells 10 if your lucky !! if this man/John still wants to take the offer up for 1 at 50% off shipped he can but thats up to him . this is 1 of the reasons untill today I only had 1 bad guy post about me !! now this bad guy post is 2nd
