Unhappy Help

I just lost my female viper gecko. No reason. She had just eaten the day before. The male seems fine. Any advice would be great. Thanks. Cherie Harbour

Vet Necropsy would be your best bet. Some do it for cheap, some for free. something to consider if you are serious about learning the cause of death. Sorry you lost your gecker. That sucks!!

Sorry for your loss.

Check with any local universities they will perform a necropsy for less than a vet.

I had a male with her should I be worried? She just ate the night before and has layed 3 eggs. 1 egg her first batch then 2 the following. Seemed very healthy & active. Seem like it came out of nowhere. Thanks to all who commented.

Sounds like complications during laying to me. Happens sometimes. Necropsy would isolate the cause easily in that case.

K thanks! She layed about a month ago so I didn't think that was it. Her first egg is due to hatch in about a month or so. The second 2 are only about a month in. Vanessa do you have viper geckos?

I think you should keep a close eye on that male, just to be sure.
