Fire

When buying a fire what do you look for?

Bright! I like them with and without pattern, so I look for bright babies. Also, as adults, I would look for creamy/faded ones, if possible. Most importantly, I would look for females...lol.

Thanks guys! Now who do you recommend to buy them from? Who has consistently good ones?

I like the Mike Wilbanks line. That is what mine is and the head spot was passed on to all his offspring.

I got a male from Mike Wilbanks with a nice reduced pattern. I got a female from Garrick DeMeyer that is extremely light and creamy colored with nice blushing. Both are very nice examples of fires. It would be cool to get one that has a reduced pattern, with light and creamy color and high blushing

Great responses everyone, I appreciate it. I'm looking for a male for my two female pastels for next year. This year they both were paired with my bumblebee male and next year I'd like to add some fireflies to my group
