I have decided to go to a monthly charge for banner advertising here. I have been running the banner ads for a solid year now, and generally I have found that nine out of ten times when someone would enquire about advertising, the explanation of how charging by impressions works just scares them away.
So I am changing it. Beginning on June 1, I will be charging $25 per month to run a banner ad on any site I run. They can be either the vertical or horizontal formats. If someone is will to prepay for a year, the charge will be $250 instead of the $300 it would cost monthly.
All current ads will run until June 1 if they run out beforehand. All new ads will begin running on the first of the month after the order is completed for the ad. That way I can keep this from driving me crazy trying to keep tabs on which ads are running out.
I will be changing the PayPal buttons to reflect this and will do an online order form as well. All "real soon now".
