Dr Ivan Alfonso - Orlando Florida

Anyone in Florida needing a great reptile vet or a doc for any other critter you share your life with... I recommend Ivan! We own a rather large collection and love them all dearly! So of course we want the best care for them! We have been searching for a good vet for years with no luck at all!!
I feel like Ivan was sent to me by the gecko gods!!
He is a reptile lover and keeps some really nice animals of his own, this tells me he isn't in it for the money! ...to work with animals all day and go home to them too!!
Last time I was in there he was splinting the broken leg of a uroplatus gecko!! Most vets would have never taken the time to do this! BTW the gecko is healing and eating well! He and all his staff have all been super helpful, kind and compassionate toward us and the critters that they care for! I have to say I have never had a vet treat me with the kindness and respect that he has! We drive over 100 miles to see him!!

I saw him again at the Repticon show in Orlando yesterday. good people, good vet. It's amazing to me that more keepers in Central Florida don't take advantage of the convenient and inexpensive services he offers at the shows in Orlando, Tampa, etc. On the spot fecal exams from a vet that actually keeeps reptiles himself. and he even has a screen on the outside of the microscope so that you can see exactly what he is seeing on the slide real time.
