Feeding

Sorry if this is a repeat-I would like to know from those of you that have large collections, which prey item do you use and why ie cost wise, easier to feed ect.The reason I'm asking is that I want to switch my collection from crickets(expensive, hard to breed)to mealworms and superworms, and how would this affect growth. Thanks in advance

I have a lot of experience with switching, I anm the king. Right now I'm doing the cricket thing, but I seem to switch from them to mealworms and back at least once a year. Mealworms are cheaper, but your leos will eat more of them. Crickets are a little harder to keep alive for a few weeks, but when they are breeding they produce a lot of offspring quickly.

The best advise I can give is to switch back and forth a few times until you figure out which is best for you and your Leos. Since I live in an apartment and space is more important than money, I just order crickets biweekly. However, during the breeding season I order mealworms to start the babies on until they are 15 or so grams.
