How much experience do you have?

I thought it would be interesting to see how many years we all have with Leopard Geckos. This doesn't count for other herps... just Leopard Geckos.

In all seriousness though, we've probably bred leos for wholesale\shop distribution for the past 5 or 6 years. Just normals, high yellows, jungles, and tremper albinos. I cannot even recall the first leo I personally owned..... That had to be nearly ten years ago, perhaps more. I do remember my first was a male normal, and it was quite pricey.... for a leo

This will be the second year breeding high end morph specimens, and the first year we're actually prioritizing it as a main project of ours and selling to the general public. The bug caught me good last year.......

not very long... i'm a veritable newbie....
but we have been keeping snakes for 7 or 8 years

Just over 10 years with leos. Still have my 1st pair...they are retired and living large (and separate because Romeo still likes the ladies!) I don't remember what I paid for my females, I know I got Romeo as a hatchling for $40 at a show... he is a high yellow/normal. I still think I got a great deal!!

10+... and my goodness how things have changed.

I said 1-2 years; even though I've owned my boy for 10 years, I've only been hard-core "into" them for a year or two back when I got him. A nasty divorce ended my plans - and now I'm back in - for the long-term!

I’ve been keeping leos for 6 years and have been breeding for 4 years. Wow, time is flying!

For me it's been 9 years of owning my high yellow female and 1 1/2 years of breeding (Mostly albinos). I couldn't help getting more. Once I found out about all the other color morphs of Leos out there, I was hooked!
