The Welcome Room & New Member Intros How about a place for new members to come on in, make an introduction, and meet the regulars? Talk about yourself or anything else that comes to mind, just to break the ice. Or just pull up a chair and make yourself at home for a spell.

Long overdue Hello

Hi all, I have been a member here for a little while now, just never got around to saying hello. I guess I should start by saying "HI" now.

I am a 37 year old married father of 4. I have 3 boys and a girl. The ages range from 3-10. Yeah I know thats a whole lot of fun all packed into one small age range, but hey they are all out of diapers finally! lol

Anyway, I have been into selling and buying reptiles almost as long as I have been into keeping them. I learned some advanced herpetology in Bakersfield, Ca. as a youngster from a man by the name of Al Robbins You can find more on him here: Al Robbins . Quite a nice little education and beginning to the love of reptiles that has become more of an obsession than just a hobby.

Anyway, nice to meet you all and I hope we get a chance to do business one way or another but hopefully all good

I'm glad you made an introduction! I'm sure you'll find lots of good people to do business with here. What do you breed/keep?

I keep columbian red tail boas and breed them as well. Sheer passion. I also keep corns, just recently got into them and became a reg'ed breeder with ACR. I plan to breed my personal favorites again soon(Argentine Black and White Tegus) I have a few babies now that I plan to raise to adulthood. I have had real success with these and living where I am, it makes it really a hassle free venture.

I have kept a lot of boas and pythons and lizards over my time and have even worked a bit with venomous. I really prefer the boas and plan to stay in that area. Although my mentor had no red tails, he did have a green anaconda that was actually what got me started with my love affair of boas.

I love all herps and would probably try my hand at them all if I thought I could afford to LOL.
