Jackson with parasites?

Hello, I had a concern about possible parasites. I purchased a female Jacksons Chameleon less than a week ago from an expo as a mate for my male. My male is in a large all screen cage with a waterfall, a dripper, uvb, a basking area, vines, the whole nine yards and is doing wonderful. The female just suddenly passed away tonight and when I went to get her out of the cage I noticed little bugs. They aren't mites and they weren't visable before she died. They seemed to be around her mouth and possibly coming out of it. Could they have been internal? They seem to jump almost like fleas. Her cage was next door to my males and I want to be safe and make sure he can't get whatever they are. Any help will be greatly appreciated! I have had my male since he was a baby and I don't want any harm to come to him.

Springtails??

I'm no expert when it comes to chameleons, but i do have crested geckos that might have a similar bug in their enclosure. Although i've never seen these bugs near the mouths of my animals, or on them, it may be the fact that these little bugs eat fungus/mold that develops in moist areas within the enclosure as to why they were drawn to your expired girl. :[ The bugs i have are called springtails. They are flightless gnats i believe. They are from what i have seen in my own enclosure, and online, that they are completely harmless to the reptile. They are actually helpful with the way they keep the tanks clean since they eat fecal matter and stop mold from developing, since they eat that as well.

I hope that i have at least given you an idea...of course you might have already known this, but i wasnt sure since there werent any updates. Look them up online and see if they resemeble what you had found. Goodluck!
