Chinese Water Dragon Questions
Hey Everyone,
I purchased my first water dragon this weekend, and I have a few questions.
So heres some info about him/her. The dragon is still a baby and I would guess about 9" maybe more but most of that is his tail. I have him in a 30 gallon tank wil coconut husk on the cage floor, moss and a few fake plants. Branches are stacked up under his basking light so he can climb and a large water bowl on the other side of the cage. I wanted to know what is the ideal basking temp for these dragons? Also does my setup sound ok? I want him to be healthy and happy and so far he is eating great and is moving around the cage exploring going in his water. Any information would be greatly appericiated

Your set up sounds good.
Basking temps for Water Dragons need to be high - upper 90's.
Good luck with your little one! They are awesome lizards!

I have another question... Wht else can he eat at this age/size? when I got him last weekend I only bought crickets....

He can eat small dubias, silkworms, butterworms, phoenix worms, red wiggler worms, *waxworms & mealworms (*in moderation), other small roaches like lateralis & lobster, and dark leafy greens.
