The Scotts garter (Thamnophis eques scotti) is a beautiful central american species that is found in a very limited range in Lao de Magdalena, Mexico. It is one of the largest thamnophis species, my females get close to 4 feet and are very heavy bodied, the male is over 2 foot. These are a very docile species, and the adults in the collection eat frozen thawed rodents. They are one of my favorite species to work with and are still uncommon in US collections. Pictured is the the babies and an adult female (not for sale). Will only sell lone females or two or more females per male.
