The newest video is addressed to all the "haters." Interestingly enough, it shows one of these clowns posing with an AK-47. Intended to be a threat?

I love how they thank their supporters at the end then list all three of them.
These guys are pretty typical of the modern day wannabees, no knowledge, and no class, get rich quick think they are something they are not attitude.

From the quote in post 67, above:

ANIMAL SHELTERS, HUMANE SOCIETIES, AND LAW ENFORCEMENT PLEASE NOTE: We are not a government agency or have government ties what so ever but We will accept emergency intakes resulting from neglect or cruelty cases, confiscations, abandonment situations, etc, and we will waive any fees in these cases. We do not claim to be some charitable organization because we are not 501c3 status yet but we have applied and paid our money to become 501c3 just so people can have there little tax right offs.

Amazing. They imply that they charge fees to take in animals but they are 'waived' in certain situations; but they provide no validation whatsoever that they are a bona fide rescue. Their description after their claim to 501c3 application status is demeaning, mispelled, and in general unprofessional.

My opinion is that they are bottom feeders, and their 'gimme' ads just put up to milk innocent owners out of their reptiles. Sad for everyone, especially the poor critter.

Are they "non-profit" or not?

They changed their "About Us" page a little. It now states:
Quote:
We are not currently 501c3 status "YET". We are not making money from this.

The domain is still registered to "MnJ Inc."

However, I just called the Virginia State Corporation Commission, and MnJ is not a registered corporation or LLC.

They are not a company, legally, and I seriously doubt that they have come up with the $750 fee that it takes to apply for 503(c) status.

Below is the main menu to their "new" site:

They did remove the care sheets and local Virginia snake photos.

They had to. I sent an email to the webmaster of WNYHerp and showed them the stolen copyrighted material.

I informed WNYHerp as well, and contacted the webmaster for the website that had the VA Snake list originally on it. I also contacted a few other people, which they had taken information from.

Michael has removed the video from the site that shows Nick with the AK-47. Luckily I saved a copy of it...

They're backed into a corner. They're now retaliating by posting defensive and inflammatory posts in their videos. Good on you Seth for checking into their supposed "Inc" status.

I thought these guys were bad before - but good grief. This is ridiculous. I'm glad Nick's condo people came down on him for keeping the snakes he did. In my personal opinion, people this unstable shouldn't be able to own living creatures.
