Grey Banded Kingsnake help

So I bought a 2 year old Grey Banded Kingsnake a month ago. He's great and I love him, but I have a couple questions.

He eats fuzzy mice right now once a week. When should I feed him more amd how much?

How do I know when he's fully mature?

Best substrate?

When winter comes, should I cool him for a little bit?

Thanks for the help!

Welcome to fauna and congrats on you're grey band! He should be able to eat a couple small mice at a time. I think he should be full grown after 4-5 years and sexually mature at 3-4 years. Shredded aspen works fine , is cheap, and readily available. No need to cool him unless you plan on breeding him. That said he will probably not eat that much during the fall/ winter anyways. Post pics!!!!
