Hello!

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

It s best not to put two beardies together, much less mix species, especially two species that are so vastly different in size. The beardie would eventually eat the horned lizard. So no. Absolutely not okay to house a beardie and a horned lizard together.
On the horned lizard not eating, how do you have it set up?
Do you have a hot basking spot? What is the basking surface temp? What are you using to measure the basking surface?
Do you have a cool side? What is the temp at the cool end?
Are you using UVB?
Do you have plenty of hides in the tank, and most of the outside of the tank covered to reduce stress?
Are the ants too big for that baby?
Do you have it in a high traffic, noisy area?
Are you handling it?
Have you read a few care sheets?

Since you obviously won't discuss your husbandry with me, then you need to discuss it with someone who knows more than either of us about HLs or the baby will die. No, it is not good that the baby is only eating an ant a day, and it will die soon if you don't fix whatever is wrong with your set up or it.

im going to move him into a big tank once we move into our new house he has a hide away and i have a heat lamp and uv lamp. he loves to bask in the heat and the uv but wen i put a ant in he is either interested in it or he is afraid.
he loves to burrow himself into the ground and run around. but i want to feed him but he wont eat more than one ant. should i put like 5 or 6 into hes habitat???

You need to discuss his setup and care with an experienced person or group or he will die. He has already gone days without eating well, and I cannot stress how fast they go down hill and how just a small husbandry issue can kill these lizards. You cannot guess at their temps, you must make sure they are not stressed, and you cannot let them go days without eating well without doing something about it or they will die. They are not hardy in these ways like other lizards. PLEASE contact one or both of the contacts that I listed above.

I cannot answer that unless you answer the questions that I asked of you. If your husbandry is off, then no, he will not eat.
On the horned lizard not eating, how do you have it set up?
Do you have a hot basking spot? What is the basking surface temp? What are you using to measure the basking surface?
Do you have a cool side? What is the temp at the cool end?
What type UVB bulb are you using?
Do you have plenty of hides in the tank, and most of the outside of the tank covered to reduce stress?
Are the ants too big for that baby?
Do you have it in a high traffic, noisy area?
Are you handling it?
Have you read a few care sheets?
