Mold on

Just put hognose eggs in incubator last week. Noticed that they already have a white mold. Anything I can do? Thanks

Mabe try a real weak bleach solution to wipe the mold off & move the eggs away from others in the box. Sometimes when mold shows its to late but healthy animals can hatch from not so healthy eggs.
Good luck

I'd just wipe it off gently with a damp paper towel.

Don't think I'd use any bleach...it's very toxic to living things & eggs are semi-permeable membranes...the bleach might affect the eggs, IMO.

The mold may or may not come back...maybe too much humidity? I don't give up on eggs until they smell 'off' & draw flies...believe me, you'll know if they're bad. Keep
your fingers crossed...
