I don't know how many Chris Flowers there could be~ but last year in Aug 2006 a Chris Flowers at cunit@mchsi.com emailed me about an ad I had running. The ad clearly stated the price of $200 I was asking for the BPs I was selling at the time. He asked me a lot of questions back and forth in email~ got me to take several pics~ specific pics of tails~ tail lengths~ comparing tail lengths to other snakes also for sale~ my explaining to him that he could not sex the snakes by their tail length but I had probed them~ and finally after wasting a considerable amount of my time taking specific pics for him he informed me:

"I just need a adult female and 200 is to high for me... so I gues I'll keep looking"

I found it very frustrating~ apparently enough so that the minute I saw his name on this thread I KNEW I had old emails saved from him.

Cheryl,

Do you have any details that might tie the two together for Stuart? Like where he was from, email addresses, etc?

Just his email address which is in the post~
cunit@mchsi.com

I don't even think he is a bad guy~ probably just new~ I was just frustrated that he wasted so much of my time. If $200 was too high for him why did he ask me to take all those pics? If he just decided he didn't want the animal (or if $200 really was too high for him) then he could have just said "Thanks for the pics~ I'll let you know if thats the one I decide to buy" But to just say my price that he knew BEFORE asking me to take a bunch of pics (and ths was through several emails not just one) was too high.....it was frustrating. And made me remember his name.

Just had a similar experience with Chris Flowers as well.

Chris Flowers
205 Railroad st.
Blairstown, Iowa 52209
Ph#319-558-6910

cunit1979@yahoo.com

Chris contacted me about a trade, we exchanged about a dozen or so emails (mostly from him) asking all sorts of questions about the animals he wanted.
The deal was made, and he was to ship his animals to me on Monday Sept. 15th.

Several hours later I receive an email stating he has to back out of the deal.

Not a real big deal, but he does seem to make a habit of wasting peoples time.

I'm sorry to the few people that I have "wasted there time"
But I do feel its in every buyer, seller, and trader's best intrests to ask as many questions as you need too and know every detail of the transaction.
But it is also everyones right to back out. So I am sorry again.

Your right ..you should ask about the animals your thinking of getting.
But when the deal is finalized and shipping is set up
I considered it a done deal.

Like I said not a real big deal, but others should know.

Would you still like me to go to your site and "give you a reference"

Jim, at least Chris had the common courtesy to let you know....he could easily have left you hanging with no word whatsoever.

For what its worth, the trade I did with Chris went flawlessly.

I suppose you can call it "common courtesy", if its not a habit.
