8x8 attic terrium done, how to build fake rock walls??

I need any info on building a fake rock wall. This is a very large cage for a soon to be large water monitor. I have read up alot on doing a foam base rock wall but I think the monitor will completely destroy it. Any ideas maybe foam base but coat in 1/2 concrete or thin coat of fiberglass.... Anyone have any better ideas...

STONE WALLED

Most building centers have left-over boxes of fake stone that they'll sell kinda cheap. It's actually a concrete product, so the weight is considerable. If that's not a problem, all you need to do is screw on some 1/2" cement board to the sides and use ready-mix mortar to glue the stone/blocks in place. About a half inch on the back then press in place and hold for 30 seconds. It'll hold an elephant after it cures (about 24 hours). Then you just fill in some mortar between the stones and you're done. You may want to seal the stones because they are fairly porous. It will also help help wear down his dagger like claws.
We made a nice looking faux stone wall with 1/4" hardware cloth and redimix mortar. You can roll the wire into tubes then bend & tack to the walls with screws to form branches that are then covered with mortar. We tried adding mortar color, but the dye actually bled out into the water. A better method would be to use foudation waterproofing--a cement based product that is available in several earth-tone colors. Have fun
