Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Can someone please help me?
I caught this turtle yesterday here in Wisconsin. I've been catching turtles for a very long time here and have not a clue what it is!!! I thought it was a common musk but looks nothing like one... Can someone tell me what this is?

Looks to be maybe be gravid female???? Nice swelling on the sides for a wc animal from just yesterday. Not saying she is.

Yes it looks healthy. Those pictures were not at all what I was expecting. That underside looks so clean and bright, again for it being wc. Hmm, very nice turtle though. Sorry I couldn't be of any help! Good luck.

I'm pretty positive that's a Reeves Turtle. I'm glad you caught it since that is not a native species.

I know of a Malayan snail eating turtle, and that is not a Malayan snail eating turtle.
