Good news and bad news

Hi,

again an update on my Hypo project.
First the bad news:
The little male developed some spots on head:

But I still do not give up this one. Because those Hypos that turned out spottless on body as adults had spots on their bodies as babies. So maybe it's the same thing here...maybe the spots on head will fade later. And even if they do not fade,he still has less spots than the Hypo animals. So I still hope that this one turnes out as a Super Hypo.

Now the good news:
I hatched some more project geckos!
Another clutch from "Super Hypo x Hypo"-pairing hatched!
One is pretty dark and the other one is pretty light. Both are Hypos for sure. Maybe the light one is a Super Hypo...but I hatched out Hypos that were pretty light as babies as well...but not that light

the dark-sibling:

both together:

And I hatched two other project geckos from "Hypo x Hypo"-pairing.
One of them is a normal! So what was obvious in theory before is now proven: It's possible to produce normals from Hypo x Hypo breeding, what proves the fact again that the Hypo animals only have one copy of the gene.
I will post pics of the other two new project hatchlings later...

Greetings from Germany, Johannes
