Dawn/Dusk Simulators

I have used standard appliance timers to automatically run lamps for light cycles for my reptiles for years. This is pretty common. But, I have often wondered how harsh it must be to suddenly have the lights come on full bright on dark mornings then suddenly cut off in the evenings. I find it to be pretty harsh for me. So, I figured that there had to be a technology that could mimic the natural accentuation and attenuation of sunlight. And there is! Below are two links to two designs/manufactures of Dawn Simulators. I wonder how beneficial a more natural "sunrise" and "sunset" might be for certain animals. Especially in acclimating recent wild caughts. IMO It has to be less physiologically stressful.

Luckily I am a stay home mom, I have a dimmer knob and cut them on low around 6am, then medium about 9 them high at noon and reverse it at night. But thats a lot of work when I can buy a gadget for $35, good find, Ill haev to look into getting one of those. There are days I haev to leave and they get left on a setting too long, that is AWESOME!
