Exclamation Help! Lost Anole

I should of ran the experiment when I had him! Calling help from people with Anoles!!! Can they climb walls??? Regular walls with paint, no wall paper. I know to look by water, look high, by the windows, by the crickets, and on all of the wood. Stupid chamaflouge! We just lost him 2 hours ago. I have no clue how that happens!? His lid is very heavy, just made that way. OMG, what if he injured himself getting out?? If hes on the ceiling or vent are on the ceiling and that could be bad to. All I can do is look now. Any suggestions??

Oh, Thanx. Nevermind though, it was a false alarm! YEAH! My Fiancee and I searched all morning, and he finally left for work, and when I got out of the shower he was right there in the tank! He was hiding under the paper towels we figured out! LOL Oops!
