You may have labeled this a Neutral Thread, but based upon your tone and accusatory writing, it sure comes off as a Bad Guy Thread. Glad you got your 9 bucks back!

This thread is mostly a waste of space and time. In my opinion the whole thing should be discarded or deleted.

Its not about the $9, its about the customer service. Answering a customer's questions incorrectly and then blaming the customer something goes wrong is something I believe others should be aware of. If someone disagrees that's their prerogative.

I see they assure live arrival if picture evidence is provided within 2 hours. If this policy was in place when you ordered(not added after this situation) what exactly are you upset about? Your father said they appeared fine, you said they appeared fine when you quicly checked them, and only found issue a good seven or so hours later.

I think the service was fine, you screwed up and should take responsibility instead of trying to ruin someone's reputation in a passive aggressive way.

Actually the service was FAR from fine, the box was not labeled with either live animals or the species in latin which are requirements for live reptile shipping I believe, certainly it is for snakes, not 100% sure on frogs as I do not deal with them but would be surprised if it is different.
Even if not a strict requirement, common sense in this time of year would tell you to label the box with "live animals" at least.
Would that have ensured the FedEx delivery agent knocked on the door, maybe not but it MAY have.

DID you miss the part where they were unpacked by her father and responded they were fine??? Had NOTHING to do with labeling at all. The frogs were fine when they arrived according to whom unpacked them

I receive dozens of boxes a year unmarked with no issues. IF you guys want to nit pick about a box which didn't have the species on the box, go right ahead. But other then that we have done nothing wrong here, and even refunded the buyer back for a animals to which died past out TOS.

nope I did not miss anything and was not "claiming" the labeling or not had anything to do with the frogs health, maybe you missed that part....
my rebuttal was over the claim that the service was fine which technically without the correct labeling on the box was not fine at all.
And was directed at the poster of that comment and not you but obviously you are the ultimate recipient of said comment as you or an employed shipped the box out with no clear labelling of the contents.

REMINDER TO CUSTOMERS - Please remember to write the common name and scientific name on the outside of the box or on the inside flap of the box to ensure a smooth shipping process. US Fish and Wildlife requires this information

direct quote from reptiles express website, very first thing you see when you go there.

so just because "lots" of people do it does not make it right or acceptable does it? Now I have also been guilty in the past of not including the species name at times but NEVER have missed labelling as live animals.
so yes maybe nit picking but it is a valid point in my mind
that's all.......
