Milwaukee Resident Finds 4-Foot-Long Snake In Car

I'd like to see the size of the glove box in the rental car.

Milwaukee, WI (AHN) - A Milwaukee Budget Rental worker got the shock of his life when he found a 4-foot, red-tailed boa in a rental car. The worker found the boa constrictor in the glove box of a returned car's glove compartment and quickly called animal control officers.

WTMJ-TV, Milwaukee, Wisconsin reported that by the time the officers got to Mitchell International Airport, where the car was parked, the reptile had moved from the glove box through the dashboard and into the air vents.

There was no other way to rescue the snake than by pulling apart its vents. Animal control officers suspect the snake to be a pet as it is uncommon for them to be found in the United States.

(Yeah, I can't remember the last time I found a boa when I was out herping...)
