Thumbs up Constictor Northwest A+

I recently bought a salmon from Ed Lilley and because i live in MN and its a "touch" on the cold side i asked if we could wait until spring to ship. Now of course this would mean that he would still have to feed it and ect. He said yes without hesitation (sp?) and was even going to ask if he could wait to ship because of the weather. Which made me have even more respect for him than before.
While in his care my snake died. NOT because there was something wrong with it or because of neglect. Just one of those things that happens. With in hours of his death Ed had e-mailed me wanting to make it "right". Mind you i wasn't even going to see it untill spring so he could have waited to tell me. We sat on the phone for almost an hour not because we disagreed on how to make it "right". But just to BS, because we already had everything worked out w/in the first five mins of our talk.
The reason i am telling you all this is because this is a man that anyone can (and should) do business with without fear of getting ripped off. It's not often that we hear of the good people and i wanted everyone to know that Ed is one of the GOOD GUYS!

ps. Ed if your reading this i still think the rule change at the last min is unfair

Haven't purchased any animals from Ed but he purchased a gecko from me a few months back. He was a pleasure to deal with and the transaction went as smooth as possible.

While I haven't bought anything from Ed (yet), I have seen/photographed his animals at shows and talked to him a few times. I have found him to be an upstanding gentleman who offers very high quality animals and advice.

Sometimes animals are what I term FTT (Failure-to-thrive) or die because of unpreventable accidents. It happens to the best of us, I'm sure even some of the larger breeders out there have had their fair share. It is sad when it happens, but many times, it is unavoidable.

Thanks for the kind words all.

The little salmon male died trying to feed. He readily snapped the mouse out of my fingers but had some kind of complication swallowing, and passed... Somtimes there is just nothing you can do..

No Jen..... I can't replace him with a sunglow...LOL...

That's weird. Maybe the process of swallowing compressed the mouse onto his windpipe?

I feel bad because of the loss of the snake!

And Ed i still do see why i can't have that or a tigar in trade, but i guess i'll have to make do with some other kick butt snake from you!

I just purchased a 1.0 Baranquilla Colombian Boa from Ed and couldn't be happier. He arrived today in the best packing job I have seen so far by the way of Fed-Ex overnight and came alert and not at all cold with a tracking number the night before.

Communication via e-mail and phone was excellent and he was great to talk to as well.

It's nice to receive perfect service and an awesome animal all at the same time. I am looking forward to doing business in the future.

Thanks again Ed!!

Brett

Once again i am happy to say i bought another sweet snake from Ed. The new male that i recieved today not only came in perfect condition and packaging, but he was WAY better in person. The pics that Ed sent me did him NO justice at all. Not only am i thankful for the snake, but im also very thankful that since i bought my first snake from him we have become good friends.

Thanks again Ed for the kickass snake. And i promise when his time comes for him to meet his new girlfriend you will get plenty of snake porn pics
