Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

het x het will produce 66% possible hets.

66% is just the odds it is a het or not. Since they all look normal you cannot tell which are het and which are normal.
Think about breeding a pastel to normal. While they are still in the egg you cannot tell what each egg contains, but you do know each egg has a 50% chance of being a pastel. Same thing with animals and het genes. If one parent is het and the other a normal then each offspring has a chance to be a het, 50% chance to be exact.
With 66% hets both parents are hets, about 25% of the offspring should be visual and 75% are not. Each normal offspring has a 66% chance of carrying the trait and are often sold as 66% hets. There is no guarantee that they carry the trait.

Ok I think im kinda starting to get it? LOL this is all so confusing and one of the reasons I was going to stay out of recessives but there are a few things I really want to try.......
OOOOOh I have another question!
Is it possible to make a triple recessive?????? or triple "hets"
Say for instance a caramel glow G-stripe? or axanthic ghost pied?
