Christopher Lewis on Kingsnake (SCAMER)

When calling your bank about the issue, they will pretty much ask you exactly what they need to know. It's best to just explain exactly what happened. You paid for some snakes online and it turns out the guy had already also charged other people for the same snakes and then disappeared. They're usually pretty good about getting a stop put on the transfer, or reversing it.
I've only had to call them a few times about issues like this years ago and it was a quick and painless process and my money was back in my account within a couple days at the most.

The bank will help you. They have the forms you need to fill out, one for each transaction, but they'll get it back to you.

Of course, they may want a fee for doing so, but that's just the greedy nature of financial institutions.

I'd call my bank now!! Gotta have an 800 number.. Roll the ball!! Use credit cards, even if you have to pay a friend and borrow the credit card numbers, or mommy, or daddy.... My mommy is a regional security head honcho for M & I Banks... I have had some good runarounds with some choice folks out there, but boy do you get their attention when you didn't pay with a form of cash!!! It's kinda funny, they really wanna help you then!! You can charge back faulty "merchandise" up to 3 months after the fact... Not cool to abuse it, but boy does it elevate you in a situation similar to this..

Me, can't buy from a dude like this, why, he probably hasn't stolen/swindled a portable card processor yet!! I don't buy unless CC is and can be used, without paypal too!! I'm a loser, I know..

Yup - definitely a scammer. He got called out a couple of times here.

Yeah i tried to get ahold of my bank but they dont have after hours contact info.. small town bank.. but i will be sitting at the bank first thing in the AM to get this taken care of hopefully.... any fee to stop this is welcomed. paying a smaller fee opposed to the 1300 bux he got is welcomed. Best of luck to you too Clint on getting your funds back as well... looks like im changing my paypal to back to my credit card instead of straight funds transfers from my bank too

now im not discouraged about kingsnake.com but i am going to be even more paranoid about buying from there....

Try a name search here in the future before sending money. If the name don't work, try changing it to a business name they might be going by. If nothing, try their email address. All of these options may pull different results from the data base.

same here

did all of the above on the search... he just opened his kingsnake.com seller account this past weekend.. his paypal account was verified premeir account and when did the BOI search nothing came up until today. i always search before i buy or i contact friends of mine that been in the business for a loong time. Nothing on any forum came up about Christopher Lewis until today. Sadly he got two of us in his scam and hopefully no one else. he had another ad posted for a mojo and another for a group of tiger het ghosts/ghost so im sure someone else might have gotten scammed too just hasnt made it to this forum yet
